Scholarship Only:

1 prepared piece (3 minutes minimum) of any genre.

Requirements for a Theatre auditions:

One 60-second monologue (comedic or dramatic) prepared from memory.

Optional, for students interested in musical theatre: one 21-32 bar cut of any musical theatre selection of the auditioner's choosing.

What can I expect from UPIKE Music’s Audition Day?

Once you have scheduled your select time and date for your UPIKE Performing Arts Audition, you will be contacted shortly thereafter to confirm your slot and to answer any questions you might have. Once officially confirmed, you will be added to the schedule for your chosen time.

On the day of your audition, please arrive at the Booth Auditorium lobby (5th floor, Record Memorial Bldg., UPIKE Main Campus) at least 30 minutes before your allotted audition time to sign in.

Once you’ve completed your registration, you will be allowed time to warm up before moving to your audition room.

Once you feel adequately prepared, all that’s left is the audition!
